For some reason, MySQL/MariaDB stopped giving access to the root user. Uninstalled and reinstalled with Homebrew. Fresh install, fresh tables but when you enter mysql -u root -p You get this error: Access denied for user ‘root’@’localhost’ (using password: NO).
